{"id":291,"date":"2025-10-10T15:19:31","date_gmt":"2025-10-10T13:19:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.usds.ch\/privacy-policy\/"},"modified":"2026-01-23T12:25:29","modified_gmt":"2026-01-23T11:25:29","slug":"privacy-policy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/usds.ch\/en\/privacy-policy\/","title":{"rendered":"Privacy Policy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Data Controller<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Une semaine de sport, 5 rue du Village-Suisse, 1205 Geneva, Switzerland is the data controller for the processing of personal data in accordance with the new Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP 2023).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Personal Data Collected<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you register individually or as part of a group online, we collect the following personal data:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Child information<\/strong>: first name, last name, age, residential address and the first name, last name and phone number of the child\u2019s primary care physician.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Parent or legal guardian information:<\/strong>&nbsp;first and last name, mobile phone number, email address, and the first and last name of the person authorized to pick up the child.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Authorizations and acknowledgements<\/strong>: parental consent for image use, waiver of liability in the event of accident, civil liability, damage or theft, and acceptance of the general terms and conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Purpose of Processing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This personal data is used to: organize activity weeks by location, week, and age group; communicate with parents regarding registrations and upcoming events; and apply for subsidies from the Geneva municipalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Data Retention Period<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Personal data is stored on a secure server in Switzerland by Infomaniak for one year, ensuring privacy protection. Only email addresses are retained beyond this period to keep parents informed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Parents\u2019 Rights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parents may request the deletion of their child\u2019s data once the child is no longer registered for any activity week.
